Careers
Join us at our lab in Akihabara, Tokyo.
We're hiring builders across AI, hardware, design, and business.
OPEN POSITIONS
Research Scientist - AI/Foundation Models
As our AI and Foundation Model Research Scientist, you will build Physical AI systems for humanoids that learn to care for facilities and homes.
Your mission is to establish a continuous improvement cycle between real-world data collection and perception-decision-action models, creating AI that's safe, practical, adaptive, dexterous, and robust.
Research Scientist - Control/Reinforcement Learning
As our Controls and Reinforcement Learning Research Scientist, will be responsible for developing high-performance, reliable control systems for robots, including designing, implementing, and tuning motion-control algorithms that enable real robots to acquire advanced motion skills.
Leveraging principles from control theory, reinforcement learning, and multimodal AI models, you will build controllers that balance robustness, adaptability, and real-world feasibility.
You will iteratively validate and refine these algorithms in both simulation environments and on real hardware, continuously elevating system performance.
You will also collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and AI model development teams to create practical, end-to-end solutions that span robot design, control architectures, learned policies, and deployment on physical robots.
Embedded Software Engineer
As our Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the core real-time software systems used in humanoid robots.
You will work at the intersection of software, hardware, firmware, AI, and manufacturing to build high-speed, highly reliable, and safe robot-control software.
The role involves optimizing everything from low-level sensor signal processing to actuator control, driving seamless integration between physical hardware and software.
Through this work, you will help elevate R&D-stage robots to a level suitable for mass production and global deployment.
Mechanical Engineer
As a Mechanical Engineer at Enactic, you will be responsible for the hardware development of humanoid robots and their related peripheral devices.
In this role, you will work closely with experts in electronics, embedded software, and AI to build reliable and robust hardware that forms the foundation of the entire system.
Your scope of responsibility may include robot arms, end effectors, mobility mechanisms, robot control devices, peripheral equipment, experimental rigs, and exterior structures, depending on project needs and development phases.
Within your assigned domain, you are expected to continuously track the rapidly evolving landscape of humanoid robotics and to identify, validate, and implement the functionalities that are truly essential for our systems, rather than simply following emerging trends.
As development progresses from early prototyping to mass production, you will be required to understand the current stage of development and adapt your approach accordingly.
A flexible and constructive mindset toward discussion and problem-solving is essential as challenges evolve and requirements change.
Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer at Enactic, you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for humanoid robots and their associated peripheral devices.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with specialists in mechanics, embedded software, and AI to build integrated electrical and electronic systems that connect and enable the entire robot platform.
Your scope of responsibility will be defined according to project needs and development phases, and may include power electronics design for high-power motors and battery systems, PCB design under strict constraints, and the development of real-time embedded systems.
